PitchNOLA Competition Turns to Community for Solutions

We believe community involvement drives social progress. Pitch Us Your IdeaIt's time to get your ideas on paper and share them with New Orleanians. PitchNOLA: Community Solutions is celebrating its sixth year and will take place on January 28, 2015. Brought to you by Propeller and Tulane University, this competition encourages community-driven solutions to local challenges.

We encourage pitches that support workforce development, children and families, social justice, and the environment.Past PitchNOLA winners have gone on to scale their ideas to create tremendous community impact. Learn more about past winners.

Over $5,000 in Seed Funding

Community members bring the pitches; we bring the funding, project support, and media coverage to make the winning idea happen.

Selected semi-finalists will pitch their ideas in front of a voting audience and panel of judges on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Tulane University for the chance at over $5,000 in seed funding.

All New Orleanians, including individuals or teams with for-profit or nonprofit ideas, are welcome to apply. The first step is to attend a competition overview to get your questions answered!

PitchNOLA informational Q&A sessions will be held at the Propeller Incubator, 4035 Washington Ave. These sessions are optional.

Q&A Session 1: Thursday, October 28, 2014, 5:30pm-6:30pm

Q&A Session 2: Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 12:00pm-1:00pm
